Are children welcome?
Yes! We are proud to be a family friendly establishment. However for everyone’s safety, we do insist that you keep your children in eye sight at all times. Please assist your children under the age of 10 when getting popcorn from our popcorn machine as the kettle is extremely hot, especially during and right after popping.
Do you have food?
Yes, we do have a tasty in-house menu including flatbread pizzas, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels and chili. All food and drink orders are taken at the bar. On Saturdays we welcome a different food truck from 12-8pm each week (or until they run out). You are also welcome to bring in any food or order delivery. Please be courteous of others to not take up tables just to use it as a place to store your food.
Are Dogs allowed?
Yes! We are dog friendly on our patio and grassy area. To ensure your furry friend and other guests’ safety, please keep your dogs on a leash at all times. YOU are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. No one likes to step in doggy doo and we certainly do NOT want it brought into our tasting room. Dogs are not allowed in the tasting room, with the exception of service dogs. There is a bowl on the patio for use as well as a spicket to fill your pooch’s bowl.
Do you have any Gluten Free beer?
No, we do not have gluten free beer. We do have some beers that have been treated with a clarifying agent that reduces gluten, but none have been FDA approved as being gluten reduced or gluten free.
Do you have nonalcoholic beverages available?
Yes! We offer Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and bottled water.
Can we reserve a table?
Unfortunately, our tasting room and patio space are not large enough to reserve tables. It is currently first-come, first-serve. You are welcome to bring your own pop up tent, folding tables, blankets, chairs, etc. for use in our grassy area.
Can we drink other beers, wine, liquor or cider here?
No-Our ABC license does not allow ANY other alcoholic beverage on premise including to-go containers such as filled growlers and crowlers. There are NO exceptions.
Do you have a fire pit? Of course we do…Old 690 was conceived around a camp fire. We have fire wood on site and if it’s cold enough one of the staff members will gladly start you a warm fire. We also offer s’mores seasonally!
Open Tabs/Forgotten Credit Cards
Any tabs that are left open at the end of the night will be charged on the credit card. We do not include any type of gratuity. If the card is not collected after 7 days, it will be shredded for your security.
Why do I have to enter my email every time I want my receipt emailed to me?
We currently use Shopkeep for all credit card processing. This program does not collect or store information. If you choose to have a receipt emailed to you, you will need to enter it every time.
Why do you keep my credit card when I start a tab?
We hold your cc in a box under our cash registers until you are ready to check out because ShopKeep will only store your name in our system. The card must be swiped again at the time of check-out in order to be processed.
We are not a restaurant and have one person in the kitchen preparing all food orders. Orders are prepared as they come into the kitchen. Please give us at least 10-15 minutes to get your food order to you. At peak business time, it may take longer, depending on the orders placed before yours. Please keep the number we give you upright and visible for staff to see so we can get your food to your quickly. If it’s lying on the table, we cannot see it and all other food orders get delayed.
Do you distribute?
No we are not currently distributing. The only place you can get Old 690 beer is at the Old 690 tasting room. However on occasion we do have bottles available. We always have Growlers for take home consumption and will soon have a Crowler machine.
Can I take home a keg?
Yes, we do occasionally have kegs available for purchase for 1 day events only such as weddings, rehearsal dinners and parties. Sorry we don’t offer kegs for long term pouring purposes due to our limited quantity of kegs in inventory. Please call or email 48 hours before you would like to pick up a keg to see what we have available. Prices vary, depending on the type of beer you would like to purchase. There is a $100 refundable deposit for the keg and a $50 refundable deposit for the tap. You must be 21+ to purchase kegs and must bring a valid, state issued, photo ID with you at the time of pick up.
Do we rent out Old 690?
Yes we do!! Whether you need a space for a meeting or a function, Old 690 Brewing Company might have just the space. Our taproom has seating for 40 with ample outside space including additional patio seating. The space is available for rent Monday – Thursday from 10am until 8pm and on Friday’s from 10am until 3pm. The rental cost is $50 per hour with a three hour minimum (this includes set up and clean up time). Our building is not available for rent during normal operating hours.
We want to make sure you group is well taken care of during your gathering by bringing in our top notch staff members. For groups up to 25 people, we will bring in 1 staff member. For groups larger than 25 you will need two staff members. The cost is $25 per member per staff hour.
Outside food is welcomed during the rental. We have a large variety of food trucks, pizza places that deliver to our area along with a few local caterers that we can recommend if needed. We are not able to provide food for your group during rentals.
The Beer! We always have a variety of beer on tap at all times. The cost of the beer is $6 ($7 for premium) per pint. We also have flights available for purchase at $20 each. We do not allow outside beer, wine or spirits to be brought on to the property.
We have a juke box available that plays a variety of music and two tv’s. No outside music is allowed on the property.
Payment: A non-refundable deposit is required of $100 at the time of the reservation.
Final payment is due 1 week prior to the event. Old 690 Brewing Company accepts Cash, Check and all major Credit Cards. Please note tax and gratuity is not included in the pricing.
If you need to cancel: We understand things happen and sometimes you have to cancel. Please try to give us at least 2 weeks notice.
